The cantata was performed at the benefit concert "Jerusalem of Gold". From every purchased CD, 2 Euros benefit the Jerusalem Foundatiion.
The cantata tells a story from the gospel of Matthew (17:1 ff), where Jesus is shortly transfigured into the glory which he will have after his resurrection. What his disciples experience during this transfiguration, what kind of questions they asked and what answers they came up with, is set to music here.
Recording and editing of the CD was done by Thomas Mehlhorn. We are very grateful for his amazing work. The circumstances for the recording were not quite optimal – 8 ° Celsius in the church of Minzow at the beginning of October – and only endurable with a lot of hot tea.
